When placing an order I get an error message stating that there has been an authorization failure. What went wrong?

 

 

ORDERING

Q:  What is the status of my order?

A: Your order status will be available 24 hours after your order has been placed, by simply clicking on the "My Account" link at the top right corner of every page of our site. From there, you will be able to view information about your order.

Q: How long will it be before I receive my order?

A: Usually about 1 to 2 weeks for standard products.  It takes a couple of days to assemble your order depending on inventory, where you fall in the shipping queue, etc.  Once on the truck it will take between 2 and 7 days in the lower 48 (depending on which of the 48 we are shipping to).  Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii and the rest of the world take a little longer (see our shipping page for more details on global shipping).

Special products will ship after they have been built.  Allow 4 to 6 weeks for special products.

Q: Can I expedite my shipping?

A: Shipping can be expedited at special request. Please contact us at 1-888-728-9481 for rates.  Please note that our stuff is heavy and costs a lot to overnight (a LOT). 

Q: I want something special.  Will you build it for me?

A: Sure!  As long as it falls within our relative area of expertise which is, of course, block forms. Because special stuff has no value to us (we can't resell it), we require a 100% non-refundable down payment and a signed contract found HERE.

 

Q: You asked for a deposit. What's that all about?

A: We may ask for a deposit for any number of reasons, the most common being: 1) To establish credit, 2) You want us to build something special, 3) You order an unusually large quantity of product. In each of these instances the deposit is used gauge the seriousness of the order. And, no, deposits are not refundable.

Q: Do you do back orders?

A: Worldblock.com does do back orders. If you order an item that is out of stock, we will manufacture your order in a timely fashion.

Q: How do I change or cancel my order?

A: Please contact our Sales Department immediately if you need to change your order. Please be advised that some orders are shipped very soon after placement, it will not always be possible to make changes.         

Q: Do you have a catalog?

A: We do have a catalog. When you open an account you will automatically be added to our mailing list and will receive our catalog periodically.

 

SHIPPING

Q: What do you charge for standard shipping an order?

A: Shipping is calculated on the website for orders in the lower 48 states and most of Canada. If shipping charges do not show up, it is considered FOB Duluth, MN.

Q: Do you ship to addresses outside the United States?

A: We ship everywhere.  Please see our shipping page for more information on global shipping.

Q: Do you ship to PO boxes or Military APO/FPO addresses?

A: No, we require a physical address due to the larger nature of our shipments.  We have had difficulty stuffing a 300 pound, steel form into a PO Box.

Q:  Are there any shipping restrictions that I should know about?

A: All of our items are ship eligible.

 

RETURNS

Q: I want to return my purchase! What do I do?

A: - Always inspect your shipment before signing shipping documents. Any items signed for are considered to be free of defect and accepted as-is.

- We will accept items for return within 60 days of purchase, if they have not been used. Items are eligible for a full refund less shipping charges. 

- You can set up your own return shipping, or contact World Block and we can set up a return shipment for you.

- Refund or credit will be issued upon return to World Block in satisfactory condition

Q: What are the shipping charges for returning an order?

A: Eligible returns are the responsibility of the customer, and shipping charges are calculated on a case by case basis.

 

PAYMENTS

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

A: We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express, for all orders.  We also provide a leasing option.  Please click HERE if you are interested in leasing.

Q: How can I get credit terms with World Block?

A: Fill out a credit application and back up your purchase with a valid credit card.  You can download a credit application HERE.  After we approve your credit application you can buy product on terms, typically Net 30.  Your credit card will not be charged unless you do not pay within terms.  As you build a credit history with us, your credit amount will increase.

Q: Is it safe to use my credit card on your site?

A: Yes, shopping at worldblock.com is safe. Every credit card purchase on worldblock.com is covered by our World Block Safe Shopping Guarantee, and our site is protected by SSL encryption technology.

Q:  Why is worldblock.com so safe?

A: Safe Technology: Our secure socket layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts your credit card number so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet.

Q:  What is the World Block Safe Shopping Guarantee?

A: Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank cannot hold you liable for more than $50.00 of fraudulent charges. If your bank does hold you liable for any of this $50.00, World Block will cover the entire liability for you, up to the full $50.00.  World Block will only cover this liability if the unauthorized use of your credit card resulted through no fault of your own from purchases made at worldblock.com while using the secure server.

In the event of unauthorized use of your credit card, you must notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.

Q: Is it safe to use my debit card online?

A: Yes. And please note: If you choose to pay by debit card, the amount you charge will be put on "hold", meaning it will not be available to you once you place your order. Once your transaction is processed, the amount of the transaction will be withdrawn from your account and the original "hold" will be voided.

Q: Do you charge sales tax on any item?

A: We are required by law to collect sales tax on orders shipped to Minnesota.  

Q: When placing an order I get an error message stating that
          there has been an authorization failure. What went wrong?

A: Please double check the credit card number and expiration date on your card. Also, please be aware that we currently accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express for credit card payment.
