Schraepfer Co.10 years 6 months agoDesigned and built by Rollie Schraepfer, this has been a multi year project with Ivey Construction, (Mineral Point, WI) pouring all 1600+ blocks in the wall.
The main wall stretches about 300 ft and stands 16 ft tall.
Each block weighs roughly 2000 lbs and sits on solid concrete footing.
When finished, this project integrates 8 walls, made from over 100 semi loads of blocks.
When building walls of this size, it’s crucial that each block is true and fits squarely with the others.

In the past, we’ve built walls using other landscape blocks but never with as much satisfaction as the World Block solution.
I took my first walk through World Block’s facility over 10 years ago - before deciding to purchase forms and liners. Since then, I’ve visited their facility a number of times, and their staff, engineering capabilities and service continually impress me.
Even though my shop is 300 miles away from their headquarters, I feel confident that I’m receiving the best service and products when it comes to block forms and liners.
